Enjoyed visiting your website via your Linked n post. Great pieces and something I have limited experience working with. I lived and taught in Costa Rica years ago, so the fact that your studio is located there was special interest to me. I loved the 6 years I spent there and they are among my favorite memories. I own a flat glass studio in South Carolina, and although I am passionate about glass…..I sure miss Costa Rica. Hope you will do well, the last couple of years doing business in the states have been different and have required strategy changes. Beating bushes to stay busy enough compared to always being 6 months backlogged. Keep up the great work! Flat glass for 31 years in SC now. Would you know if Country Day School still in business.

Thanks for your words of support. I’m still working onthe website. wwwcasageckoglass.wordpress.com. cehck back in a week or so to see my most recent work.
Country Day School is still operating, north of Tamaraindo. http://www.cdsgte.com/index.php. Looks like a great option for kids living in CR, where the public schools are not thebest resource for children who want a bright future. Did you teach there?
I have found a nice tourist market here for glass art – I can sell enough small pieces to pay for materials and tools. I do a little teaching. And I play with bigger pieces for the norteño-resident market. Fortunately, glass fusing is a hobby and not my main business activity. Vacation Rentals are our primary business – you can see them at http://www.sandy‘shorts.com. I’d like to offer a package: glass fusing seminar and accommodation. Maybe a surf lesson or two. Any ideas about how to market that?
